When the the company Hoteis do Gerês was founded in the 1920’s three more hotels were added to the two existing ones: Hotel do Parque, Hotel Termas and Hotel Modern. The latter was destroyed by a fire in 1961. For decades these hotels were the center of the thermal treatments and livelihood.
Recently, the company redesigned the Universal Hotel and Spa, as well as the Hotel Ribeiro - an aparthotel. In addition car parking, shopping areas and the rehabilitation of the swimming pool (surrounded by a green scenario) have been added assets to the hotels.
